Are you a K-Pop fans? If yes, then you should know about this movie, I AM. It's a documentary film of SM Town in Madison Square Garden. SM Town is a concert for S.M Entertainment's artist held in many country, like Beijing, Singapore, USA, etc. This documentary film will show us the concert, backstage, and more in Madison Square Garden, NY. However, I'm not really sure.

I don't know how to say what I'm thinking about this documentary film. I feel amazed yet confused. Well, please keep in mind that my comments are from my point of view, it may be different with another audience. The film consist of interviews of all the artist, footage of their activities which recorded by themselves or by recording team, and their videos when they were a trainee. At the beginning, I follow the line easily, there some interviews with the artists and footage of their training days. Things got complicated in the middle where I couldn't see the line again! Where this story actually going to? It's like you go forward and then backward, and go forward again. At least, that what I feels, I don't know about the other.

Now, let's put it aside. What captivated me was when the concert in Madison Square Garden showed, it was really amazing! I love how they take it, it's amazing, and the effects used in the concert...absolutely cool!
Although it's confusing to me, I'm able to get the message of this documentary film, a hardwork will give you a great result.
Are you curious how your idol can be a big star? What they did before they can become like now? Watch this documentary to satisfy your curiosity. 

21 Jump Street

Are you a fan of Channing Tatum? Well, he's on again in 21 Jump Street. It's a comedy film and it's really funny. Channing Tatum are paired with Jonah Hill, and wow, what a combination! The film already released last March. So, the film is about two cops go undercover as teenagers in a high school. They are assigned to stop the distribution of a new drug and reveal the maker. In order to do that they need to become popular among kids that they suspect using drugs. However things get too overboard and a fight couldn't be avoided. What will happen?

The film got good responses and yes, I really enjoyed the film. The high school life was really strong, I mean I could really feel it, and the jokes here was hilarious and a bit...uh, nasty? Whatever. I like how the story goes and the twist that happen there. How it turns upside down and give us a new perspective. A hidden message was delivered here, about friendship. I like that. 21 Jump Street actually based on the 1987 television series of the same name by Stephen J. Cannell and Patrick Hasburgh, and if you are a fan of this series (I think) you'll surprised by the cameos that appeared, guess who!
The DVD will be released on June, so if you interested and curious about this you should buy the DVD. Watch with your friends, the more the merrier.
It's likely they will make a sequel, as it hinted just before the end of the film. I searched the information and yes, they are planning to make a sequel with "21 Jump Street: The Second Jump" as the working title, Sony Picture announced that they are pursuing it. Tatum and Hill are expected to return as the main character.
So, watch 21 Jump Street before the sequel released! Lol!

Battleship

Hi!

The next movie I want to tell you is "Battleship". It's about war and alien. I read an article that this film based on a game, but I'm not really sure which game this is. Well anyway, what attracts me to watch this film beside its sci-fi element, it's because Rihanna is in the house yo! Lol! This is the first film for Rihanna. I'm so curious how Rihanna will act as an actress, I wonder if she will sing in this film. The film is about a group of people who tried to contact alien wherever they are, and surprisingly this alien catch the signal and visit earth. However, the alien was not friendly at all, and this alien start messing around. A group of navy trapped in a shield created by the alien to protect themselves and Hawaii, actually they planned something bigger than just visiting earth.

I was bored in the beginning of the film, because it's plain, unnecessary, and not really attracting except Rihanna. Fortunately, it's just in the beginning, and when the alien comes and messing around, it becomes exciting for me. There are not much special effect that makes me 'Wooaahh' but enough. Not much I can say about this film, watch just if you have time.
There is a post-credit scene here and if you curious what it is, please sit a little bit longer. And until the end, I think I didn't hear Rihanna singing, it will be awesome yet funny if she sing just a little bit from her song.

The Avengers

Morning!

Now, this long awaited film finally released! Have you watch the prequel yet? I mean Thor, Iron Man, Hulk, and Captain America? Well, I have and they're really amazing! All stories connected each other then all characters from different film be in one place, in one film.

The Avengers, (in my opinion) focuses on the debut of these four superhero and also Black Widow and Hawkeye. The story sets with Loki planning to rule the earth by exchanging Tesseract with a Chitauri army. Nick Fury, director of S.H.I.E.L.D, reactivates the "Avengers Initiative" in order to prevent the end of the earth. However, Thor, Iron Man, Hulk, and Captain America, all have different personalities which they haven't adapted it yet with each other. How a team can work if all of them can't get along?

That's a short summary I can made. I have watched the film and to be honest I'm a little bit disappointed because somehow I feel bored a couple of times. But, it doesn't mean it's not exciting at all, from the middle until the end it's where things got really exciting. I'm impressed with the effect used here, it's incredibly amazing, and when that ship going to fly...woooaahh...lol

Just like the other film before, The Avengers also have post-credits scenes, so don't leave right away after the film finished, sit a little bit longer to watch the secret that will lead us to the next film! Our Stan Lee also appeared in this film, he will appear nearly the end so make sure your eyes catch him! lol!

Best if watched in cinema with good quality of sound and picture! Don't miss it!

ATM (ATM เออรัก เออเร่อ)

Good evening everyone! How's your day?

Now, I want to share with you (again), a Thailand movie called ATM (ATM เออรัก เออเร่อ). Released just a few months ago, January to be precise. I was browsing the internet and found the article about this film, the synopsis and review. After that, I felt curious, and I planned to watch this film as soon as possible. It's about two bank's staff who fell in love even though their company policy restrict a serious relationship (romance) between staff. If it happens both of them must leave the company. Then, our main character Jib and Suer already hiding their relationship for about five years and they started to feel uncomfort. Suer decides to propose marriage and convinces Jib to resign from the bank. Things turn upside-down when Jib refuses to quit her job and there's a problem with ATM in a city (maybe) which troubles both of them.

From the beginning, this film makes me laughed. I enjoyed the entire film, it's light (the story) of course because it's a comedy film and romance is just to spice things up. That means don't expect to much about romantic scenes here, but expect for many funny things. Talking about funny things, there are two supporting characters here that really makes me...how do I say it, eh...sick, maybe, because it's so cheesy, way too cheesy but it's funny though, lol.

I don't see any disappointment here, at least I'm satisfied enough with the film. 

Overall, I recommend this film to release all your stress and have some entertainment. I don't know whether the DVD with English subtitle has been released or not, but if it released, buy it and go watch it. Enjoy!

A Little Thing Called Love (สิ่งเล็กเล็ก ที่เรียกว่า..รัก)

Hello again!

Now I want to share you another Thailand film, the tittle is "A Little Thing Called love", also known as "Crazy Little Thing Called Love", also known as "First Love" (สิ่งเล็กเล็ก ที่เรียกว่า..รัก). So many tittle, eh?

This film actually released in 2010 so definitely it's too late but whatever I just want to share it with you guys! lol! First Love is romantic-comedy film, and it's really amazing. The story is about Nam who is fall in love with her senior in high school, Shone. Nam's friends, Cheer, Gie, and Nim then help Nam to confess her feelings to Shone. However, things isn't going well as they try many ways to confess. It becomes more complicated when Shone best friend, Top, fall in love with Nam. How it'll be going? Watch it!

If you read the synopsis it may seems usual story, but don't judge right away, you have to watch it before you can actually judge. I have to admit that I was stunned with this film, how the story grows, from the beginning until the end. It's successfully makes me sit down for two hours and ten minutes, makes me laugh, and heartbroken (is it to much?). I love how Nam gradually change from a so-so girl into a beautiful girl, but her friends didn't change at all or at least that what I saw, maybe I didn't realize it? Well, it's not a big problem for me, we can say that someone may change but others may still the same. Side story in this film was also great, the story of Teacher Inn, she's one of the funniest character in this film. What surprises me more was the twist! Yes, at nearly the end you'll see all, and it just WOW! One more thing, there was actually one more character that fell in love with Nam, watch closely and you'll find who that guy was. It's fun to watch and find something trivia like this! lol. Sometimes, some of us just see what they can see on top, they didn't go deeper, where sometimes you can find other things. And true meanings, a message, hidden deep inside, (again) sometimes.

So for those of you who hasn't watch First Love and you really love romantic-comedy film, you must watch this! You can buy the DVD online, or visit DVD store near your place. Buy the original, support the artist!





Update: Rumor has it, they gonna make a sequel! A Little Thing Called Love 2...hmm, how it will be? On December 2011 or January 2012 (I'm not sure) SahaMongkol Media Film has announced it, and they said that the script was already done and the shooting will be produced soon with same team production.

First Kiss (รักสุดท้าย ป้ายหน้า)

Hello everyone!

Here I am again, now I want to share with you a film that really interesting to me. It's a Thailand Movie called First Kiss, or in Thailand tittle called รักสุดท้าย ป้ายหน้า (Rak Sud Tai Pai Na).

The film is about a 25 year-old woman named Sa and a high school boy named Bass accidentally share a kiss on a bus. From that point they connected together. Bass then somehow fall in love with Sa, and with some effort they started dating. But things got pretty complicated when Sa ex-boyfriend came again into her life.

That's the synopsis. At first, I actually planned to watch another movie but I came too late and because I already planned to go watch a movie, so I watch this 'First Kiss'. And I think I'm grateful that I come too late, because this movie really interesting (at least to me, lol). IMO, the flow was easy to follow, the portion of humor and romance was adequate but I still love this, though some people say it was a bit to cheesy, well, I don't think so, I think it's just enough, I love cheese anyway, lol. I'm just a bit disappointed with the ending because there's something missing like maybe explanation or something, it's just need something but I don't exactly know what it is. It's a happy ending though. At the end of the movie I heard someone sobbing, and I just like 'Oh my God?!'.

Unfortunately in Indonesia the screening has ended, but I don't know about other country. Hope the DVD will be released so you can watch it. Before that, maybe you want to watch the trailer first here you go.
