I Miss U (รักฉัน อย่าคิดถึงฉัน)

Have you experience of losing someone you love and you can't forget that someone? Because you have promised to love forever, you can't break that promise even if that someone already dead. I Miss U tells us about a man who lost his true love and can't forget about it. Starring Jesadaporn Pholdee, Apinya Sakuljaroensuk, and Natthaweeranuch Thongmee.

Another great Thailand movie just released in Indonesia. Our Thailand movie today is I Miss U aka รักฉัน อย่าคิดถึงฉัน (Taa Ruk Chan, Ya Kit Teung Chan) it is a romantic-horror movie, kinda interesting, right? Yes, and that is one of the reasons for me to watch the movie. The film is actually already released a couple of months ago in Thailand, but it just released in Indonesia.
The story is about a man, Tana a senior doctor in some hospital, he lost his fiance, Nok who is also a doctor, on a car accident one week before their marriage. 2 years has passed, and Tana seems still can't forget about Nok. Bee, an intern in the hospital, learned what happen with her senior and tries to help him forget about the past. But, can it be easily done? Since there is a rumor if someone try to flirt with Dr. Tana, the ghost of Dr. Nok will appear.
So, what do you think? Well, IMHO, it's interesting. I may not be able to give a deep review (like always) but this is different, I watch this movie alone, and I can't stand horror films alone. So, I kinda distracted while watching it. Don't worry, I got the important part, and I understand what was the film trying to say. So, let's go on. The idea of the story is great, about a loss, which may happen to everybody and it has a deep meaning about loss. Simple but has a deep meaning. But, I think there are parts that needed to be polished since they are not well enough to support the story, it makes me confused with the role of a character, is she antagonist or protagonist? Are they doing it intentionally? Maybe, but still I don't get it. The flow was just right, a bit too fast maybe, it reached the climax perfectly and served perfectly too. The acting was great, especially the three main cast Jesadaporn Pholdee, Apinya Sakuljaroensuk, and Natthaweeranuch Thongmee. Jesadaporn (Tik) gives us a look of a man who lost his fiance. Apinya, her acting when she scared wasn't really look like a scared person but enough to tell us she was scared. Natthaweeranuch, her acting was good both as a scary ghost or a live person. Supporting cast was great too they all showed the right emotion proportionally, except for a family that appeared at the end of the movie, it's like watching a scripted reality show. Don't be surprised with the ending, and talking the ending, make sure you watch the ending carefully because that's where the message of the story shown.
In conclusion, I recommend this movie! It's worth to watch, even it's not as scary as other Thailand horror movie, but it's still scary...at least for me. How about the romanticism? For me, it's really romantic at some part and especially at the end, I don't know why I call it as romantic. It's touchy-feely I think. By the way, I heard there is two others alternate ending, I haven't seen it yet because I don't know whether they will play them or not in Indonesia. As in Thailand, they screened the film with alternate endings. Well, if they didn't play it in Indonesia, I have to patiently wait for the DVD to be released in Indonesia, and hope there will be a special feature which shows the alternate endings. I already have guessing what the other endings will be, but I want to make sure by watching it.
For you who like the songs from the film, here are some of the songs I got. OST I Miss U:
I MISS U : ได้แค่คิดถึง บอย ตรัย (Official MV)
I MISS U :รักเธอทั้งหมดของหัวใจ (Official MV)
MV ฉันอยู่ตรงนี้ข้างๆเธอ - Klear [OST. I MISS U] --> I really like this one, has a deep meaning..
รักเธอทั้งหมดของหัวใจ วันวาน(Official)  --> This one too! Has a very deep meaning. But this song sung by a woman, in the original (also in the film), it was sung by a man.
Here is the trailer with english sub, enjoy!
