Bruno Mars

Do you knnow Peter Gene Hernandez? If you don't, then maybe you know Bruno Mars. Yes, his real name is Peter Gene Hernandez. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on October 8, 1985. Born from a family of musician, and he began making music at a young age.

Mars decided to pursue a musical career after performing in various musical venues in his hometown throughout his childhood. He moved to Los Angeles after graduating from his High School. He worked with B.o.B by lending his vocals and co-writing the hooks for the song 'Nothin' on You' and 'Billionare' by Travie McCoy. He also co-wrote the hits "Right Round" by Flo Rida featuring Kesha, "Wavin' Flag" by K'naan, and "Fuck You!" by Cee Lo Green. Then, Mars became recognized as a solo artist and released a debut album 'Doo-Wops & Hooligans' on October 5, 2010.  In the United States, 'Doo-Wops & Hooligans' debuted at number three on the Billboard 200 for the week of October 13, 2010, selling 55,000 copies.

On September 19, 2010, Mars was arrested in Las Vegas for possession of cocaine. When talking to a police officer, Mars reportedly stated that what he did was "foolish" and that "he has never used drugs before". Mars pled guilty to felony drug possession, and in return for his plea, the charges will be erased from his criminal record as long as he pays a $2,000 fine, does 200 hours of community service and completes a drug counseling course.

Midnight in Paris

Midnight in Paris, a Spanish-American romantic-comedy film directed by Woody Allen. Midnight in Paris got good reviews, and Rotten Tomatoes certified it fresh!

The story tells us about Gil (Owen Wilson) a Hollywood screenwriter, vacationing with his fiance, Inez (Rachel McAdams) and her Republican parents in Paris. Gil is currently writing his first novel after giving up his career in the Hollywood, he is now struggling to finish the novel, which is about a man who works in a nostalgia shop, but Inez and her parents are critical and demeaning of Gil's decision to give up his lucrative Hollywood career. They do not share his romantic view of Paris, and while Gil wanted to move to the city for inspiration, Inez is intent on living in Malibu. By chance, they are joined by Inez's friend Paul (Michael Sheen), a pseudo-intellectual who speaks with great authority but little actual substance or accuracy on the history and art of the city. Inez idolizes him but Gil, who is a ardent admirer of the Lost Generation, finds him insufferable.
The film premiering at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival in May 2011, and released on June 10, 2011. The film stars Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams, Marion Cotillard, Kathy Bates, Carla Bruni, and Adrien Brody.

Green Lantern

Though it's already released I still want to write it, :D

This superhero film based on the DC Comics character with the same name, directed by Martin Campbell. Released on June 17, 2011.

So, this movie tells about 'Green Lantern Corp', somekind of intergalactic police that protect the universe which they split it into 3.600 sectors. Oneday, there is a bad guy called 'Parallax', he was prisoned from a long time ago, and now managed to escape from his prison. One of the 'Green Lantern Corps', Abin Sur battled with Parallax but he was defeated. Abin Sur then crash-lands on Earth. The dying Abin Sur commands his ring to find a worthy successor on the planet.

Hal Jordan, a Ferrich Aircraft test pilot is chosen by the ring and transported to where Abin Sur is dying. Abin Sur appoints him a Green Lantern, by telling him to take the lantern and speak the oath.

After that, Jordan comes to the Green Lantern Corps home planet of Oa, where he meets and trains with Tomar-Re and Kilowog. But, after meeting with Sinestro he get back to Earth. Meanwhile, the corpse of Abin Sur was moved to a secret goverment facility and a piece of Parallax's DNA inject itself inside a scientist. So, how is it going to end? Curious? Watch it at your cinema!

Jessica Ellen Cornish a.k.a Jessie J, was born in Redbridge, London, England on 27 March 1988. Began her career signed to Gut Records, recording an album but the company went bakrupt before anything released. Jessie then move on, becoming a songwriter she found a success. She wrote a song for Chris Brown and Miley Cyrus, the biggest single she wrote is Miley Cyrus song 'Party in The U.S.A'. She was also the supporting singer for Cyndi Lauper during Lauper's UK dates of her 2008 Bring Ya To The Brink tour.

It took six years to create Jessie J's first studio Album 'Who You Are', it was completed on January 19, 2011 and released on February 25, 2011.

On March 6, 2011 the album took a place on the UK Album Charts at number two, in the United States the album debuted at number 11 and the single 'Price Tag' was at 23 in April 2011.

Jessie J will play at the iTunes Festival on July 15, 2011.  She also went on tour as the opening act for fellow Capitol artist Katy Perry's California Dreams Tour in 2011.

Roland Emmerich will bring William Shakespeare into life again in his new movie 'Anonymous' that will release on October 28, 2011. The tagline of the movie, 'Was Shakespeare A Fraud?' has gained a lot of attention, and brought a controversy. Well, actually it's not only because of the tagline but the movie also.

I have to say the poster was somehow artictic, a person holding a pen that's now known who he is and inks that scattered around. An unknown person that holding a pen also describe the movie, is it true Shakespeare, or is it someone else? It will remain a mystery even if the movie released.

Have you heard a song titled Firework? or maybe E.T? Whether you have heard or not, you must be heard about this women, Katy Perry.

Now, I will write about her, please read it if you're interested :D

Katy Perry was born with name Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson on October 25, 1984 in Santa Barbara, California. When she was a child, Perry listening to only gospel music sang in her local church as a child., it's because she raised by Christian pastor parents. She began to pursue a career in music after earning a GED during her first year of high school, her first stage name was Katy Hudson, she she released a self-titled gospel album in 2001, unfortunately it was unsuccessful. But this doesn't break Katy Perry's spirit, she is later signing to the newly created Capitol Music Group, a merger between Virgin and Capitol. Adopted a new stage new name into 'Katy Perry'. She started a campaign in November 2007 with the release of the video "Ur So Gay", aimed at introducing her to the music market. A digital EP (Extended Play) led by "Ur So Gay" was later released to create online buzz and press story. This move gained an attention of Madonna, and she mentioned Katy Perry on KISS FM and KRQ's JohnJay & Rich morning show in Arizona.

She released her debut album 'One of The Boys' on June 17, 2008 and get mixed critical reviews. The album took a place on Billboard 200 in number nine and certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.

On September 30, 2008 Perry released her second single, "Hot n Cold", which became her second top three single in dozens of countries around the world, including the United States where it reached number three on the Billboard Hot 100, as well as topping the charts in Germany, Canada, and Denmark.

In 2010, Katy Perry released her third studio album 'Teenage Dream' and debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, selling 192,000 copies in its first week. At the 53rd Grammy Awards, Teenage Dream was nominated for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album. Lead single "California Gurls" was nominated for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals with title-track and second single "Teenage Dream" nominated for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. The album also won International Album of the Year at the Juno Awards of 2011.

The Adventures of Tintin

Ae you a fan of Tintin? This reporter will come in big screen on December 23, 2011. The film that will come in 3D is based on a series of comic books of 'The Advantures of Tintin' created by Belgian artist Georges "Hergé" Remi. The poster of the movie released in two different versions, the first version is International Poster, and the second is US version, look at it below:

From the poster we can see what is in the movie and what will happen in the movie, the first thing is there's a broken plane that about to fall, and in the right of the poster there is a ship which is (maybe) a Legendary Unicorn Ship. At the first poster it seems that Tintin and his dog are standing in Europe, his signature blue jersey and plus fours are all present and correct. Another thing is, there is seen a somekind of dessert. The second poster is darker, and the face of Tintin can't be seen clearly.

The film combine from several stories of Tintin, The Crab with the Golden Claws, The Secret of the Unicorn and Red Rackham's Treasure. It tells how Tintin meet with Captain Haddock, and they will discover the treasure of Captain Haddock ancestor, Sir Francis Haddock.

Hello everyone,

Do you remember Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet, Tiger, Rabbit, Owl, Roo, Kanga, and last but not least Christoper Robin? Well, I do still remeber it, how can I forget it's my favourite story when I was young, very young.

This cute bear with red shirt will come in a big screen with his friends.

The film is a reboot of Disney's Winnie the Pooh franchise.

If you want to see how is Pooh today, then you have to watch this movie. Beside, I think it's a good choice to watch this Winnie The Pooh Movie to get some relaxing time, and you may recall all the moments when you have fun reading the storybook of Winnie The Pooh!

Winne The Pooh Movie will hit the theaters on July 15, 2011 in United States, Walt Disney Pictures already released the movie in UK earlier (April 15, 2011).

Cowboys & Aliens

An upcoming 2011 American sci-fi is Cowboys & Aliens, the film starring Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, and Olivia Wilde. The film is based on the 2006 graphic novel created by Scott Mitchell Rosenberg titled Cowboys & Aliens. 

Cowboys & Aliens is scheduled to be released in the United States and Canada on July 29, 2011.

Cowboys & Aliens sets in 1873 and tells about a loner named Jake Lonergan (Daniel Craig) awakens in Arizona with no memory about his past and the mysterious shackle around his wrist.

He enters the town of Absolution where he learns that he is a notorious criminal wanted by many people, including Colonel Dolarhyde (Harrison Ford), who rules the town with an iron fist. Absolution soon faces an even greater threat when alien spaceships attack the town. While his shackle holds the key to defeating the aliens.

Do you remember Mumble and Gloria from Happy Feet?

Yes, there will be Happy Feet 2! They scheduled Happy Feet 2 to be released on November 2011.

There are no synopsis yet, but the movie is still far from release so I think it's okay. So I will tell about the voice cast first. There seems no big changing at the voice cast, but one thing is Gloria will be voiced by Pink, because Brittany Murphy who is the original voice of Gloria has passed away on December 20, 2010.

It's a shocking news, because her death is so sudden, she has a great voice I really love her.

Mumble will still voiced by Elijah Wood and so Ramon/Lovelace voiced by Robin Williams.

There is no trailer too as far as I know. So please stay tuned!

However, Scott's colleague Amy Squirrell (Lucy Punch) is also pursuing Scott, while the school's gym teacher Russell Gettis (Jason Segel) is making advances on Elizabeth.

2011 has so much movies that we can watch, expecially this summer.

Well, coming out last week was Super 8. This science fiction film written and directed by J. J. Abrams and produced by Steven Spielberg. The film, starring Joel Courtney, Elle Fanning, and Kyle Chandler. The film tells the story of a group of children who are filming their own Super 8movie when a train derails, releasing a dangerous thing into the town.

This movie was grown a lot of attention because J.J. Abrams keeping the details of the movie very very secretly.

SNSD 1st Japan Album

On June 1, 2011 Girls' Generation released their first album in Japan!

This album contains 12 songs including the singles "Genie", “Gee”, "Run Devil Run", "Mr. Taxi" and a Japanese version of "Hoot".

The album sold 231,553 copies in the first week and breaking the record previously set by BoA's album for top selling foreign artists.

Now they will begin their new tour with title "The 2nd Asia Tour: Girls' Generation".
Now, after I heard the songs and the MV, I must say this album was very very very great! Two thumbs up for Girls' Generation.
I really love 'Mr. Taxi', the rhythm makes me fly and enjoy, maybe it's too much but it's real. Everytime I hear this song I feel happy! Another song you have to listen is 'Born to be a Lady', even I don't know the meaning, it feels whooaa.....I don't know what I have to say.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon

Transformers: Dark of the Moon or Transformers 3, is one the highly-anticipated movies in 2011.

Transformers 3 is said to be the last chapter of the Transformers series and it will be released on June 29, 2011.

This film is still directed by Michael Bay and produced by Steven Spielberg.

Also, Transformers 3 will surprise the audience with Real D 3D, yes they will release this film in 3D format.

Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 (+Trailer)

I'm sure you all know about this saga, yes it's Twilight Saga, and it's coming to an end.

The last installment Breaking Dawn will be out on November, and oh they will divide this last installment in two part! Breaking Dawn Part 1 directed by Bill Condon, and the cast member will be the same as before.
