The Amazing Spider-Man

Are you curious how the new Spider-Man movie looks like?
Now this long awaited movie, The Amazing Spider-Man finally released! This new reboot of Spider-Man cast new actor and actress as the main role. After many speculation on who will be the new Spider-Man, Andrew Garfield chosen to play the role, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Peter's love interest, and Rhys Ifans as Dr. Curt Connors.

Many people including me got very curious how this new Spider-Man will turn out, will it be better? or worse? And after its release, there were several positive critics and negative critics. Before we go on, let's read the synopsis first.

Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man

Peter Parker who was abandoned by his parents as a a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben and Aunt May. Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. He also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy, and together they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents' disappearance and leading him to Oscorp and meet his father fellow scientist, Dr. Curt Connors.

That's that, a little bit story that you will see. The Amazing Spider-Man intend to focus on an untold story of Peter Parker like about his parents and why they mysteriously disappear even though it's not fully revealed. But, at least we can presume by the hint that scattered.

Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy

Now, I've read several comments about this film and there are two opinions here, good and bad. Where both sides got even. For those who tell this is bad because they didn't see any difference between the 'old' Spider-Man and this 'new' Spider-Man, and they expect more from this new Spider-Man. Well, yes they were right about this and there's not much new things in here. On the other side, the rest of the people satisfied enough by Andrew Garfield, bringing a new side of Peter Parker/Spider-Man. They also talked that this rebooted Spider-Man was friendlier, familiar, and so on.

IMHO, the new Spider-Man gives us a new looks, this Peter Parker is a geek, a skateboarder, and he looks like a normal guy but yeah whatever. Emma Stone, ahh she's so beautiful and charming here. I remember when Peter asked Gwen going out for the first time, Peter looks very normal, I mean, his act when he's shy, just like some boys out there. And Gwen reaction just the same.

Rhys Ifans as Dr. Curt Connors/Lizard

I agree with people who said that The Amazing Spider-Man has some same elements with the 'old' Spider-Man, but hey, even tough it's same, the way it delivered was different. It's not completely like the 'old' ones. I like the script too, I think it's well-written.

Well, everything I've written was based on my opinion and someone else opinion, you shouldn't take it personally, I mean you have to watch it by yourself, everyone has their own taste, right? You may have different opinion and that's okay. So, what are you waiting for? Let's go to the cinema and watch The Amazing Spider-Man!
